Young Jackfruit with Coconut Milk Vegetable Soup


Ingredients;
  • 1 kg young jackfruit, cut as desired
  • 250 gr ribs/ meat brisket
  • 3 salam leaves
  • 3cm galangal, punched
  • 1 ltr coconut milk
  • 3 red chilies,2 cms circle cut
  • 3 green chilies, 2 cms circle cut
  • salt and sugar for seasoning


Blended seasons;
  • 2 tsp corriander
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 5 candlenuts
  • 8 shallots
  • 4 garlics
  • 1/4 tsp shrimp paste

Cooking Methods;
  • Boil jackfruit, brisket/ ribs, salam leaves, galangal with coconut milk till tender
  • Add blended seasons and chilies
  • Stir a period, cook till well done
  • Ready to be served
